Printed from the same block that was used to create Alba and Spumante (both 2017), Ambra was inspired by Willa Cather’s descriptions of the Nebraska prairie in “My Antonia.” The title refers to the print’s golden hues of yellow, brown, and orange: amber waves (of grain).
